Help me please to fix subtitles

Please I need someone to fix one SUB file for me. Its subtitles for Les Visiteurs movie which I like very much. I bought this DVD but unfortunatelly it doesn't contain subtitles in my language. I found only one sub file on entire internet but it shows subtitles 12 seconds later then it should show it. Please fix this for me I don't have any experience with this kind of problem. I use classic media player to play movies and didn't have such a problems earlier. Please help.
